AVTEL Environmental Management Policy Statement

AVTEL provides integrated security systems in multiple regions around the world.

AVTEL is committed to achieving Carbon NetZero by 2032.

By managing the environmental impact of our operations, it is our policy to always assure the environmental integrity of our processes and facilities, and to continually improve our environmental performance. We will do so by adhering to the following principles:

• Environmental Impact: we will develop and use management systems and procedures to minimise the use of hazardous materials, energy, and other natural resources, to minimise the generation of waste, and to enable recycling and reuse of materials. We will strive to prioritise engagement with suppliers and service providers who are committed to reducing their environmental footprint.
• Continuous Improvement: we will continually seek opportunities to improve our environmental performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting our results; including but not limited to energy, water, paper, travel, and fuel consumption and vehicle distances travelled.
• Compliance: we will comply with all relevant environmental regulations that apply in the locations we are doing business.
• Environmental Responsibility: we will promote participation and communicate our commitment to responsible environmental management by promoting environmental responsibility among our employees:

– By providing the necessary training and support to enable them to implement this policy; and
– By informing suppliers of our environmental policy and encouraging them to adopt effective environmental management practices; and

– By including environmental management and target setting as a requirement for our suppliers; and
– By soliciting input from our employees, suppliers, customers, and board members in meeting our environmental goals.

• Net Zero Emissions Goal: we will achieve net zero emissions status through a combination of waste and raw materials reductions, and appropriate investment in carbon offsetting.
• Annual Emissions Audit: we will undertake yearly emissions audits, utilising the data reported to develop and continually improve the effectiveness of our environmental management procedures so that we can achieve the principles outlined in this this policy.
• Transparency and Stakeholder Engagement: we will make the results of audit reports available in a manner that provides adequate detail and transparency to its stakeholders. We will also engage suppliers and customers to ensure that our operations take into consideration their objectives regarding environmental management.

We will review this policy annually.
