Job Role:
This role is central to the successful deployment of AVTEL’s service support and Maintenance and Small Works programme. Manages all Service and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities including Small Works projects in accordance with specifications and commitments by the Company to customers located in the UK and
Europe.
Expectations & Tasks:
  • This role is for a person with a blend of abilities that must including effective communication and organisational skills with a strong desire to deliver Service and Maintenance solutions and delivery of small projects in accordance with scope, timeline and budgets.
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of Service and Maintenance programme and small projects in accordance with Service Level Agreements, within budget and to the customers’ satisfaction
  • Works with sales account team to determine goals and objectives
  • Clarifies scope, acceptance criteria, conducts need analysis, identifies service priorities requirements and deliverables.
  • Provides leadership to direct staff including vendors and subcontractors
  • Manages resources, tracks resource utilisation and resolves resource constraints to ensure service levels criteria are met.
  • Creation of schedules that define financial, human resource and material requirements
  • Develops and improves AVTEL’S Service and PPM life cycle process
  • Proactively identifies risks that may affect response capability, specifications, budget and outcome of service quality
  • Communicate risks to appropriate stakeholders (internal /external) develops mitigation options and contingency plans.
  • Enabling AVTEL business objectives by effectively collaborating with AVTEL employees and Executive to drive business improvements
  • Meets assigned expectations for timely completion and quality standards for all Service and PPM activities
  • Cost containment: Delivery Service within or improved budget parameters including targeted gross margins.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Drives improvement creates or re-engineers’ processes, resources, structure to gain productivity and improve project outcome.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time

  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced technical knowledge to ensure security system, technology, or solution functions as required in customer environment
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the legal issues with contracts

  • Good computer skills – MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Projects and Outlook.
